AI Clerics Refund and Cancellation Policy
Effective date: September 4, 2026
Last updated: September 4, 2026
This Refund and Cancellation Policy applies to subscriptions, credits, and other paid features offered through AI Clerics.
A purchase may be sold by AI Clerics directly or by a merchant of record, application store, payment provider, or other third-party seller identified during checkout or on the receipt. That seller may require a particular cancellation or refund process. Nothing in this Policy limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
1. General rule
Except where required by applicable law, required by the applicable seller or payment platform, or expressly approved under this Policy, payments are final and non-refundable.
AI Clerics may review a refund request and approve, deny, limit, or otherwise resolve it at its discretion where permitted by law. Submitting a request does not guarantee a refund, and approval in one case does not require approval in another.
2. Subscription refund requests
AI Clerics may consider a refund for an accidental first subscription purchase, an unintended renewal, a duplicate or incorrect charge, or another exceptional billing problem.
A discretionary refund for an accidental purchase or renewal will ordinarily be considered only when:
- the request is submitted promptly;
- there has been little or no meaningful use of paid features after the charge;
- subscription-included credits or other paid benefits have not been materially consumed;
- the request is not part of repeated refund behavior, payment abuse, or circumvention; and
- the account is otherwise in good standing.
The following do not ordinarily create a right to a refund:
- changing your mind after purchasing or using a subscription;
- forgetting to cancel before renewal;
- a partially used billing period or unused time remaining in that period;
- dissatisfaction with an individual AI response or generated result;
- a content rating, moderation decision, cover rejection, unpublishing decision, or feature restriction;
- ordinary maintenance, brief interruptions, or temporary model availability;
- changes to beta features, models, limits, or plan benefits permitted by the Terms of Service; or
- suspension or termination resulting from your conduct.
3. Effect of an approved subscription refund
A refund reverses the purchase and the benefits provided by that purchase.
When a full subscription payment is refunded:
- paid access associated with the refunded period ends immediately;
- the account is returned to the applicable free or unpaid level, unless another valid paid period remains;
- all unused credits included with that subscription payment are removed;
- unused message allowances, model access, bonuses, and other benefits associated with that payment are removed; and
- future renewal is ordinarily canceled unless the refund is only a billing correction and the user has a separate valid subscription.
A user does not keep subscription credits or other paid benefits from a payment that has been refunded.
Material use of subscription-included credits or paid features may make a discretionary refund ineligible. If applicable law or a third-party seller requires or processes a refund despite prior use, AI Clerics may remove all remaining benefits associated with the refunded transaction and take reasonable steps to prevent fraud or repeated refund abuse.
Where only a duplicate or incorrect charge is refunded, AI Clerics will remove benefits associated with the refunded transaction without intentionally removing benefits associated with a separate valid payment.
A partial refund may result in a corresponding adjustment to paid access, credits, allowances, or other benefits where appropriate.
4. Credits
All purchases of AI Clerics credits are final and non-refundable, including when the credits remain unused, except to the limited extent a refund is required by applicable law or imposed by the applicable seller or payment platform.
Credits:
- are virtual service units and not money, stored value, or property;
- have no cash value and cannot be redeemed for cash;
- cannot ordinarily be transferred, resold, or exchanged;
- may be used only for eligible AI Clerics features;
- may be subject to limits or expiration disclosed when they are granted or purchased; and
- remain subject to the Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.
Credits included with a subscription are subscription benefits rather than separate refundable purchases. They may reset or expire according to the plan. If the subscription payment that granted them is refunded, reversed, or charged back, all unused credits connected to that payment are removed.
Promotional credits, trial credits, advertising rewards, free allowances, compensation credits, and similar benefits have no cash value and are not refundable.
AI Clerics may correct, revoke, or remove credits that were granted by mistake, duplicated, obtained through fraud or abuse, connected to a refunded or reversed payment, or affected by account enforcement.
5. Subscription renewal and cancellation
Unless stated otherwise at checkout, subscriptions automatically renew at the disclosed billing interval until canceled.
You must cancel before the renewal date to avoid the next charge. Cancellation ordinarily takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period. You will normally keep access to paid benefits until that date, subject to these Terms and any applicable enforcement action.
Cancellation does not ordinarily provide a full or prorated refund for the current billing period.
Deleting an application, ceasing to use AI Clerics, hiding or removing content, or losing access to an individual feature does not by itself cancel a subscription.
A subscription may be canceled through the available account or billing portal, the seller or application store identified on the receipt, or AI Clerics support. Some third-party sellers require the user to cancel directly through their own service.
6. Account deletion, suspension, and termination
Purchasing a subscription or credits does not exempt an account, content, or conduct from the Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, ratings, moderation, or enforcement.
Removing, rerating, restricting, or unpublishing content does not automatically cancel a subscription or create a right to a refund.
A temporary restriction or suspension does not automatically pause the billing period, extend the subscription, or create a refund. A restricted user must still be given a practical way to manage or cancel future renewal through the applicable billing portal, seller, application store, or support channel.
If AI Clerics permanently terminates an account because of misconduct, fraud, payment abuse, illegal activity, a safety or security risk, repeated violations, or evasion of enforcement:
- access to paid services may end immediately;
- future subscription renewal will be canceled or a cancellation request will be sent as soon as reasonably practicable;
- unused subscription time is not automatically refundable;
- credits and allowances are not refundable or redeemable for cash; and
- remaining benefits may be revoked or made unavailable.
If AI Clerics permanently ends paid access for reasons not attributable to the user and cannot provide the remaining prepaid service, AI Clerics or the applicable seller may provide a reasonable remedy. The remedy may include continued access, replacement benefits, an extension, account credit, or a refund, unless applicable law requires a particular outcome.
A successful enforcement appeal does not automatically create a right to compensation. AI Clerics may restore access, reinstate benefits, extend a subscription, issue credits, or approve a refund where it considers that appropriate.
7. Failed payments, payment reversals, and chargebacks
If a payment fails or becomes overdue, AI Clerics or the applicable seller may retry the payment, restrict paid features, downgrade the account, suspend access, or cancel the subscription.
If a payment is refunded, reversed, disputed, or charged back, AI Clerics may immediately remove the paid access, credits, allowances, and benefits associated with that payment while the matter is reviewed or after the reversal becomes final.
A chargeback is not a substitute for contacting support about an ordinary refund request. Fraudulent, dishonest, or abusive disputes may result in restriction or termination of the account and removal of related benefits. Nothing in this section prevents a user from making a legitimate report of an unauthorized or incorrect charge.
8. Duplicate, incorrect, or unauthorized charges
Contact AI Clerics promptly if you believe a payment was duplicated, charged for the wrong amount, processed after a confirmed cancellation, or made without authorization.
AI Clerics or the applicable seller may request information reasonably necessary to investigate. Verified duplicate or incorrect charges may be corrected or refunded. Unauthorized-payment claims may be referred to the seller, application store, payment provider, card issuer, or financial institution responsible for the transaction.
9. Third-party sellers and application stores
Purchases made through a merchant of record, application store, or other third-party seller are also governed by that provider's billing and refund procedures.
The seller shown on the receipt may be solely responsible for issuing a refund. AI Clerics may assist with a request but cannot guarantee approval where another provider controls the transaction.
If a third-party seller issues or requires a refund, AI Clerics may immediately remove access, credits, allowances, and other benefits granted by the refunded purchase.
10. Requesting a refund review
Send refund requests to support@aiclerics.com unless the receipt or billing portal directs you to another seller.
Include:
- the email address associated with the purchase;
- the order or transaction number;
- the date and amount of the charge; and
- a short explanation of the request.
Do not send complete card numbers, passwords, or unnecessary sensitive information.
AI Clerics may consider billing records, refund history, and aggregate usage or benefit-consumption information when reviewing a request.
11. Refund method and timing
An approved refund is ordinarily returned to the original payment method.
The time required for a refund to appear depends on the seller, payment provider, card network, bank, currency, and country. AI Clerics does not control third-party processing times.
12. Changes and mandatory rights
AI Clerics may update this Policy to reflect changes to paid features, billing providers, legal requirements, or business operations. The effective date will be updated, and material changes will be announced where required or reasonably practicable.
Nothing in this Policy excludes or limits any refund, withdrawal, cancellation, warranty, or other consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
