AI Clerics Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old and legally capable of agreeing to these Terms. If you are under the age of majority where you live and applicable law requires permission from a parent or legal guardian, you may use the Service only with that permission.

Some content, features, settings, devices, regions, or distribution channels may be subject to additional eligibility, safety, availability, or legal requirements. By using them, you confirm that your use is permitted where you live. You must not bypass access or safety controls, help another person do so, or use the Service where applicable law prohibits it.

You may not use the Service if AI Clerics previously terminated your account for a serious violation and has not authorized your return. If you use the Service for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. Accounts and security

Provide accurate account information and keep it reasonably current. You are responsible for protecting your login credentials, devices, and recovery methods, and for activity performed through your account unless caused by AI Clerics’ failure to use reasonable safeguards.

Do not sell, transfer, or allow another person to use your account. Notify security@aiclerics.com promptly if you suspect unauthorized access or another security problem.

3. The Service and beta features

AI Clerics is an AI-powered roleplaying, interactive storytelling, and creation platform. It may allow you to play Adventures; create Scenarios, Characters, and related content; save creations; publish selected creations; discover public content; communicate with users; and use creator and community features.

AI Clerics or particular features may be identified as beta. Beta features may change, be interrupted, contain errors, or be discontinued. Do not use the Service as the only copy of information you cannot afford to lose.

AI Clerics may change, add, limit, or discontinue features when reasonably necessary for safety, security, legal compliance, service quality, product operation, or fulfillment of third-party obligations. Where practicable, AI Clerics will provide reasonable notice of a material change that significantly affects ordinary use.

Free access to the Service may be supported by advertising. The availability, format, and frequency of advertising may vary by plan, feature, device, region, and distribution channel.

AI output may be inaccurate, inconsistent, incomplete, repetitive, unexpected, or offensive. It may misstate facts or produce content you did not request. Review output before relying on it, sharing it, or publishing it.

AI output is not medical, legal, financial, safety, or other professional advice. Do not use AI Clerics for decisions where an incorrect response could foreseeably cause serious harm.

4. Paid services, subscriptions, credits, and billing

Certain features, plans, models, usage allowances, or credits may require payment.

The Refund and Cancellation Policy forms part of these Terms and explains the rules that apply to cancellations, refunds, credits, payment reversals, and the financial effect of account enforcement.

A. Seller of record and payment providers

A purchase may be sold by AI Clerics directly or by a merchant of record, application store, payment provider, or other third-party seller identified during checkout or on the receipt.

The applicable seller may process payments, collect taxes, issue invoices, manage renewals, and handle refunds or disputes under its own terms and legal obligations. By completing a purchase, you authorize the applicable seller and its payment providers to charge the payment method you select for the price, recurring fees, taxes, and other amounts disclosed before confirmation.

AI Clerics does not require or intend to store complete payment-card numbers. Payment information may be collected and processed by the applicable payment provider under its own privacy and security terms.

B. Prices, plans, and changes

Prices, currencies, billing intervals, taxes, included credits, usage limits, and material plan benefits will be shown at or before checkout.

AI Clerics may introduce, change, replace, or discontinue plans, models, limits, credits, or paid features. A price increase for an existing recurring subscription will ordinarily apply no earlier than the next renewal after reasonable notice, unless a different process is required by law or the applicable seller.

Promotions, regional pricing, trials, and special offers may have additional conditions and may not be available to every user.

C. Automatic renewal and cancellation

Unless stated otherwise at checkout, a subscription automatically renews at the disclosed billing interval until canceled. You authorize the applicable seller to charge the payment method on file for each renewal.

You must cancel before the renewal date to avoid the next charge. Cancellation ordinarily takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period, and paid access ordinarily continues until then.

Cancellation does not ordinarily provide a full or prorated refund for the current billing period. Deleting an application, ceasing to use the Service, hiding or removing content, or losing access to an individual feature does not by itself cancel a subscription.

You may cancel through the available account or billing portal, through the seller or application store identified on the receipt, or by contacting support. Where a third-party seller controls the subscription, its cancellation process may apply.

D. Credits and usage allowances

“Credits” are virtual service units that may be purchased separately, included with a subscription, or granted through a promotion, advertisement, trial, support adjustment, or other program.

Credits are a limited, revocable, non-transferable contractual entitlement to use eligible Service features. They are not money, stored value, legal tender, or property; have no cash value; and cannot ordinarily be transferred, resold, redeemed, or exchanged.

All purchases of Credits are final and non-refundable, including when unused, except where applicable law or the applicable seller requires otherwise.

Credits included with a subscription are benefits of that subscription rather than separate refundable purchases. They may reset or expire as disclosed for the plan. If the payment that granted them is refunded, reversed, or charged back, AI Clerics will remove all unused Credits and other benefits connected to that payment.

Promotional, free, trial, advertising, compensation, or bonus Credits have no cash value and may be limited, expired, corrected, or revoked according to the terms under which they were granted.

AI Clerics may correct or remove Credits granted by mistake, duplicated, obtained through fraud or abuse, connected to a refunded or reversed payment, or affected by account enforcement.

E. Refunds and purchase reversals

Except where required by applicable law, required by the applicable seller, or expressly approved under the Refund and Cancellation Policy, fees are final and non-refundable.

Refund requests are reviewed under the Refund and Cancellation Policy. AI Clerics may consider the timing of the request, use of paid features, consumption of subscription benefits, account history, fraud risk, and other relevant circumstances.

A refund reverses the purchase and its benefits. When a subscription payment is fully refunded, paid access for the refunded period ends, and unused Credits, allowances, bonuses, model access, and other benefits granted by that payment are removed.

Material use of paid benefits may make a voluntary refund request ineligible. If a seller or applicable law requires a refund despite prior use, AI Clerics may remove the remaining benefits linked to the refunded transaction and take reasonable measures to prevent abuse.

F. Failed payments, disputes, and chargebacks

If a payment fails or becomes overdue, AI Clerics or the applicable seller may retry the payment, restrict paid features, downgrade the account, suspend access, or cancel the subscription.

If a payment is refunded, reversed, disputed, or charged back, AI Clerics may remove associated access, Credits, allowances, and benefits while the matter is reviewed or after the reversal becomes final.

Fraudulent or abusive disputes may result in account restriction or termination. Nothing in these Terms prevents a user from reporting a legitimate unauthorized or incorrect charge.

G. Paid access and enforcement

Purchasing a subscription or Credits does not exempt an account, User Content, or conduct from these Terms, the Community Guidelines, ratings, moderation, or enforcement.

Removing, rerating, restricting, or unpublishing particular content does not automatically cancel a subscription or create a right to a refund.

A temporary restriction or suspension does not automatically pause billing, extend a subscription, or create a refund. AI Clerics will maintain or provide a practical method for a restricted user to manage or cancel future renewal through the applicable billing portal, seller, application store, or support channel.

If AI Clerics permanently terminates an account, paid access may end immediately. AI Clerics will cancel or request cancellation of future subscription renewals as soon as reasonably practicable. Fees already charged, unused subscription time, Credits, allowances, and other benefits are not automatically refundable, except as required by applicable law, the applicable seller, or the Refund and Cancellation Policy.

If AI Clerics permanently ends paid access for reasons not attributable to the user and cannot provide the remaining prepaid service, AI Clerics or the applicable seller may provide a reasonable remedy, including continued access, replacement benefits, an extension, account credit, or a refund.

5. Your content and ownership

“User Content” means content you submit, create, upload, save, send, or publish through the Service, including prompts, Adventure content, Scenarios, Characters, artwork, comments, feedback, reports, and messages.

You retain the rights you already hold in your original User Content. AI Clerics does not take ownership of your User Content.

As between you and AI Clerics, AI Clerics does not claim ownership of AI output generated for you, except for pre-existing AI Clerics materials that may appear in it. Whether AI-generated output qualifies for copyright or other protection depends on applicable law. Outputs may be similar or identical to outputs provided to other users, and AI Clerics does not guarantee exclusivity, originality, or freedom from third-party rights.

You remain responsible for reviewing User Content and AI output before publishing it and for ensuring that your use complies with these Terms and applicable law.

AI Clerics owns or licenses the Service itself, including its software, branding, visual design, documentation, private instructions, and original platform materials. These Terms do not transfer ownership of those materials to you.

6. Limited licenses

A. License from AI Clerics to you

Subject to these Terms, AI Clerics grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable right to access and use the Service for its intended purposes.

B. License from you to AI Clerics

You grant AI Clerics a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, format, encrypt, process, transmit, protect, and display User Content only as reasonably necessary to:

• provide features you request;
• save and synchronize your content;
• generate requested AI responses;
• deliver communications;
• display content according to your visibility choices;
• maintain security and service integrity;
• comply with applicable law; and
• enforce these Terms.

AI Clerics may permit service providers acting on its behalf to exercise these rights only as necessary to provide their services to AI Clerics.

Adventure content is handled through automated systems only as needed to save an Adventure and generate responses requested by the user. This license does not authorize AI Clerics personnel to browse or read any Adventure, including an Adventure started from a public or unlisted Scenario. It also does not give AI Clerics the ability to decrypt end-to-end encrypted direct messages.

This license does not permit AI Clerics to use Adventure content, direct-message contents, or unpublished creator content for advertising, model training, marketing, unspecified research, or unrelated commercial purposes. This does not prevent AI Clerics from displaying advertising alongside the Service. Published content may be displayed, distributed, and shared through the Service according to the creator’s visibility and copying choices.

This license lasts only while reasonably necessary for the purposes above, including normal backup deletion cycles and limited legal or security retention. It ends for deleted content except to the extent a copy remains lawfully retained, was separately created under Section 8, or must be retained under applicable law.

Suggestions you voluntarily provide about the Service may be used to evaluate and improve AI Clerics without payment or an obligation to implement them. Adventure and direct-message content will not be treated as feedback unless you deliberately include that content in a separate feedback, support, or report submission.

7. Visibility and publication

Creator content may be offered with different visibility choices:

• Account-only: available only through the account or feature for which it was created.
• Unlisted: designed not to appear in general discovery, but accessible to people who possess its link. Unlisted content is not confidential.
• Public: available to other users and potentially to the wider internet.

An Adventure does not become public merely because it was started from a public or unlisted Scenario.

When you publish content, it may be viewed, shared, discussed, indexed by search engines, and copied where you allow creator-authorized copying. You are responsible for reviewing both the content and visibility setting before publication.

Unpublishing or deleting content stops normal future display through AI Clerics, but cannot guarantee deletion of screenshots, external copies, search caches, recipient-held copies, or separate copies lawfully created by other users.

8. Creator-authorized copies

A creator may allow or prohibit other users from copying a publication.

When you enable copying, you grant a user who creates a permitted copy a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, modify, and publish the copied source within AI Clerics, subject to these Terms and continued attribution to the source. You grant only rights you actually hold.

A permitted copy:

• becomes a separate creation controlled by the copying user;
• does not modify the original;
• must retain source attribution;
• gives the copying user rights only in their own original additions, not ownership of the source material or any third-party intellectual property; and
• may remain after the original is removed or copying is later disabled.

Permission already granted to an existing copy is not automatically revoked when the original creator changes the copy setting or removes the original. AI Clerics may still remove a copy when required by law, a valid rights complaint, safety rules, the Community Guidelines, or these Terms.

9. Community features

Treat other users with respect. Public posts, comments, profiles, ratings, and other community contributions may be visible to others. Do not manipulate ratings or engagement, coordinate harassment, spam users, or misuse reporting and blocking tools.

Public and Unlisted content and community activity must comply with the Community Guidelines. AI Clerics may classify, limit, reject, rerate, unpublish, remove, or otherwise act on content or conduct under those Guidelines and these Terms.

Blocking limits future communication and profile interaction through the Service but may not remove content another user already received or copied. AI Clerics may limit features where needed to prevent abuse.

10. Content ratings and published content

AI Clerics uses platform-assigned content classifications for Public and Unlisted content. The classifications are Everyone, Teen, Mature, and Prohibited / Unpublishable, as explained in the Community Guidelines.

Mature is the highest permitted publication rating. Explicit sexual material, pornography, highly graphic fictional violence, and other material exceeding the Mature limits cannot be published. Prohibited / Unpublishable is not a permitted publication rating and cannot be made publishable by adding a warning or disclaimer. The Community Guidelines explain the publication rules, including sexual-content promotion.

AI Clerics may automatically assign, increase, adjust, or lock a rating. Creators cannot lower a rating assigned by AI Clerics, but may voluntarily select a higher rating or request a review.

Custom cover images for Public or Unlisted content must comply with the Teen-or-lower image standard described in the Community Guidelines, even when the underlying publication is Mature.

A publication rating controls the classification and visibility of shared content. Separate gameplay safety systems control what the AI may generate during an Adventure. Changing a publication or visibility setting does not disable generation-level protections.

No rating, visibility choice, disclaimer, or gameplay setting authorizes content or conduct prohibited by these Terms, the Community Guidelines, or applicable law.

11. Acceptable use

You must not use the Service to:

• break the law or facilitate real-world illegal activity;
• commit fraud, scams, or deceptive commercial activity;
• threaten, harass, stalk, exploit, bully, or encourage harm toward another person;
• promote hatred or violence against people based on protected characteristics;
• impersonate another person or falsely claim affiliation, endorsement, or authority;
• disclose, collect, or misuse another person’s private information without a lawful basis;
• exploit, endanger, groom, or sexualize minors;
• create or distribute non-consensual intimate content;
• publish or attempt to publish Prohibited / Unpublishable content described in the Community Guidelines;
• distribute malware or conduct phishing, credential theft, denial-of-service activity, or other security attacks;
• probe, bypass, disable, or interfere with access, safety, rating, moderation, or security controls;
• access another account or restricted area without authorization;
• use unauthorized automation, scraping, crawling, bulk extraction, or model-extraction methods;
• reverse engineer protected portions of the Service except where applicable law expressly permits it;
• infringe copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights;
• spam, manipulate engagement, or submit knowingly false or abusive reports;
• interfere with the Service, its users, or their devices; or
• help another person do any of the above.

Fictional depictions of crime, conflict, violence, or mature themes are not automatically prohibited. AI Clerics may consider whether content or use violates these Terms or the Community Guidelines, targets or exploits real people, facilitates real-world harm, creates serious legal or safety risk, or is unlawful.

12. Reports, moderation, and enforcement

AI Clerics may use automated systems and authorized human review for Public or Unlisted content, public community activity, cover images, and content deliberately included in a user-submitted report, appeal, or support request. Adventure content is not available to AI Clerics personnel for moderation. AI Clerics personnel may review Adventure content only when a user deliberately includes that content in a report, appeal, support request, or other communication asking AI Clerics to review it. Direct-message contents remain end-to-end encrypted unless a participant deliberately submits specific content in a report.

AI Clerics retains discretion to interpret and enforce these Terms and the Community Guidelines. Based on the context, available information, actual or potential harm, legal requirements, service integrity, or other relevant risk, AI Clerics may take any action it considers reasonably necessary or appropriate, including:

• warning a user;
• assigning, changing, or locking a content rating;
• reducing or removing visibility, discovery, search placement, or recommendations;
• rejecting, replacing, or removing a cover image;
• preventing publication or republishing;
• unpublishing or removing content;
• removing an image, comment, profile element, publication, message-access feature, or reported item;
• temporarily limiting an account or feature while a matter is reviewed;
• restricting messaging, publishing, discovery, or other features;
• temporarily or permanently suspending an account;
• terminating an account;
• preventing circumvention through replacement accounts; or
• taking other reasonable steps consistent with these Terms, the Community Guidelines, applicable law, or AI Clerics' obligations to protect the Service and its users.

The available actions are illustrative and not exhaustive. AI Clerics may use any combination of actions, create additional safeguards, and act on content or conduct that is not expressly listed when it is substantially similar to a prohibited activity or creates a comparable risk.

Enforcement does not have to be progressive. AI Clerics may skip warnings or intermediate measures, act without advance notice, and take temporary or preventive action before a review is complete. Severe violations, urgent safety concerns, repeated misconduct, deliberate evasion, legal risk, or threats to the Service may result in immediate restriction, suspension, or termination.

AI Clerics is not required to use the same action in every case. It may consider severity, intent, repetition, history, credibility of available information, actual or potential harm, technical limitations, legal requirements, and service integrity. A decision not to act in one situation does not waive AI Clerics' right to act later or in another situation.

Where appropriate, you may ask support@aiclerics.com to review an enforcement decision. An appeal does not pause or reverse the decision, and AI Clerics may decline repetitive, abusive, misleading, incomplete, or bad-faith appeals. You must not evade a restriction by creating or using another account.

13. Intellectual property and fan-created content

AI Clerics supports creative and fan-created works. Users remain responsible for the material they upload or publish and for respecting applicable intellectual-property rights. Rights in third-party franchises, characters, settings, brands, artwork, music, writing, likenesses, and other protected material remain with their respective owners.

Fan-created content may remain available when it complies with these Terms and applicable law. AI Clerics may respond to a properly supported complaint, valid legal request, or other reliable notice of infringement, including by requesting more information, restricting access, or removing affected content.

To report alleged infringement, email support@aiclerics.com with the subject “Intellectual Property Complaint” and include:

• identification of the copyrighted work, trademark, or other right;
• identification and location of the material at issue;
• your contact information;
• a good-faith explanation of why the use is unauthorized;
• a statement that the information is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorized to act for the rights holder; and
• your physical or electronic signature.

AI Clerics may request additional information, forward the complaint to the affected user, remove or disable access to the material, or decline an incomplete or unsupported complaint. A user who believes content was restricted or removed by mistake may send a response or counter-notice to the same address with supporting information.

AI Clerics may restrict or terminate users who repeatedly or egregiously infringe intellectual-property rights. No published content is guaranteed to remain available permanently.

14. Suspension, termination, paid access, deletion, and export

You may stop using the Service at any time. Where available, you may export account information, delete Adventures and other account content, unpublish creator content, delete message conversations from your own account, cancel a subscription, and request account deletion.

AI Clerics may restrict or terminate access for serious or repeated violations, illegal activity, threats to users or security, infringement, evasion of enforcement, legal or operational risk, payment abuse, or where required by law. AI Clerics may act immediately and without advance notice when it considers that reasonably necessary. When reasonable and appropriate, AI Clerics may provide notice or an explanation.

Purchasing a subscription or Credits does not limit AI Clerics' enforcement authority. A restriction, suspension, or termination may affect paid access, Credits, allowances, and other benefits as described in Section 4 and the Refund and Cancellation Policy.

A temporary suspension does not automatically pause or extend a subscription. AI Clerics will maintain or provide a practical method for a suspended user to manage or cancel future renewal through the applicable billing portal, seller, application store, or support channel.

If AI Clerics permanently terminates an account, access to paid and unpaid features may end immediately. AI Clerics will cancel or request cancellation of future subscription renewals as soon as reasonably practicable. Termination does not automatically entitle the user to a refund, and remaining Credits or allowances are not redeemable for cash.

Before deleting an account, export anything you wish to keep and review any active subscription. Account deletion may end access immediately and does not automatically create a refund. AI Clerics will cancel or request cancellation of future renewals under its control, but a subscription purchased through an application store or other third-party seller may also require action through that provider.

Deletion cannot erase screenshots, external copies, search caches, copies retained by message recipients, or separate creator-authorized copies. Limited security, legal, billing, dispute, and backup records may remain as described in the Privacy Policy.

Sections that by their nature should continue after termination—including ownership, licenses already granted to existing creator-authorized copies, payment obligations, Credit restrictions, disclaimers, liability limitations, and enforcement of prior violations—remain effective.

15. Service availability and disclaimers

AI Clerics will use reasonable care in operating the Service, but does not guarantee that it will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or compatible with every device. Features and AI systems may occasionally fail, produce unexpected output, or lose synchronization.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Service and AI output are provided on an “as available” basis without implied guarantees beyond those that cannot legally be excluded. AI Clerics does not endorse User Content and is not responsible for another user’s conduct, external copies, third-party advertising, or decisions made in reliance on AI output.

Nothing in these Terms limits a mandatory consumer guarantee or other right that applicable law does not allow the parties to waive.

16. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, AI Clerics is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential losses, or for loss of profits, opportunity, reputation, or data, arising from use of or inability to use the Service, AI output, User Content, another user’s conduct, advertising, or material copied outside the Service.

AI Clerics remains responsible for liability that applicable law does not permit it to exclude or limit. Any limitation in these Terms applies only to the extent it is lawful and reasonable in the circumstances. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

17. Changes to these Terms

AI Clerics may update these Terms to reflect changes to the Service, safety rules, legal requirements, advertising practices, business operations, third-party obligations, or enforcement needs. The effective date will be updated. Where required or reasonably practicable, AI Clerics will provide advance notice of a material change.

AI Clerics may update the Community Guidelines under the process described in those Guidelines. New or updated safeguards may take effect immediately where reasonably necessary for safety, legal compliance, service integrity, or prevention of abuse.

If you do not agree to updated Terms, stop using the Service and delete your account before the updated Terms take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance where permitted by applicable law.
